Claiborne was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He has been involved in commercial real estate since 2001 and is a licensed broker in both Texas and New Mexico. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, previously practiced in the public accounting field as a licensed Certified Public Accountant for four years, and was a franchise owner/operator with a large regional pizza chain for 12 years. Claiborne has primarily focused on retail leasing, and the acquisition/selling of retail and office properties. He is an active ICSC member of five years.
